Balance draws its identity from a fundamental graphic tension: a metal arch that is never perfectly symmetrical. One branch is longer, more curved, higher than the other. The opaline spheres punctuate these unbalanced ends like counterweights—hence the name Balance. How do I maintain the opaline spheres?
A soft microfiber cloth, dry or slightly dampened, is sufficient for regular dusting of the opaline spheres. Absolutely avoid abrasive cloths, window cleaning sprays (which often contain ammonia), and any aggressive chemical products. The lacquered metal structure can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a little warm soapy water, never alcohol or solvents.
